This double early make contact is designed to indicate the rotary handle position for ComPacT NSX 100 to 630 and PowerPact Multistandard H/J/L frame circuit breakers. When used in conjunction with a rotary handle, the early make contact (CAM) enables anticipation of device closing—enhancing safety and control during operation.

The contact integrates directly into the rotary handle unit and consists of two common point changeover contacts, each with one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) contact. It is rated for 6 A and supports a minimum load of 100 mA at 24 VDC.

It complies with utilisation categories AC-12, AC-15, DC-12, and DC-14. Each ComPacT NSX or PowerPact chassis can be fitted with one early make contact. The device conforms to IEC 60947-5-1 standards, ensuring dependable performance and regulatory compliance.
